ott.education.misc is an unmoderated newsgroup for the discussion of school
related topics specific to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and surrounding areas.
Appropriate topics for discussion might include teacher's strikes, property
taxes, new curriculum, school closings, school board amalgamations,
school board elections, kids/teacher ratio, education funding,
computers in the classroom, new report cards, bussing, school
safety, and any other topic relating to schools in the National Capital Region.

Announcement of upcoming events are welcome.
Advertising of a commercial nature is not welcome.
Discussion of commercial products is welcome,
but promotion of these products by the companies or
individuals making or selling them is not welcome.
Posting by candidates in school board elections are welcome, however the
charter of ott.politics should be respected.
